Avantis Education and ICESCO: A New Chapter in Immersive Learning
Avantis Education has embarked on an ambitious partnership with ICESCO to introduce ClassVR, its leading immersive education solution, to four key Islamic member states. This initiative represents a significant step in modernizing and localizing education systems to meet contemporary needs.
Strategic Implementation and Direct Feedback
According to Huw Williams, CEO of Avantis Education, the initiative is built on thoughtful leadership and strategic engagement. The program facilitates an immersive pilot that will roll out ClassVR in the member states. It is designed to align educational advancements with each country’s socio-economic goals, providing direct feedback from educational practitioners to tailor the technology effectively.
Launch and Execution
The partnership was sealed recently at the ICESCO Ministerial Conference in Oman. The initiative, now in effect, is poised to cover a 21-week training program that focuses on educating students, developing teachers, and analyzing the impact of immersive technologies in education.
ClassVR and Eduverse360 Expansion
Earlier this year, Avantis debuted significant upgrades to its ClassVR offering at Denver’s ISTELive event. By integrating Eduverse360, the firm is enriching its educational arsenal with 300,000 continually expanding 360° learning assets, aimed at enhancing global awareness among learners through virtual excursions.
Commitment to Enhanced Learning
Chris Klein, VP of Education at Avantis Education, emphasizes the growing evidence of VR/AR as a tool to uplift student performance. The strategic development of ClassVR mirrors the changing landscape of learning needs, ensuring that content remains at the forefront of its service offerings.
Growing Influence
ClassVR is influencing over 2 million students across 90 countries. The recent integration of Eduverse products into U.S. school districts exemplifies Avantis’ commitment to broadening their outreach, enabling educators to seamlessly incorporate VR solutions into curricula.
